Prickly pear oil

Very strong and unpleasant smell which was unexpected as I have used prickly pear oil by another brand before and it was close to odourless. Makes me think that perhaps oil went rancid during storage, but I am not an expert. I ended up not using it because I couldn’t get past the smell.

This oil is 100% organic and unrefined, from the first cold press, meaning it retains its full natural scent, which is often described as nutty and earthy. This is quite different from deodorised prickly pear oil, which undergoes processing to make it odourless. We understand that the natural aroma isn't for everyone, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.
